One of the favourites for us, partly because they are so friendly and easy to catch, they’ll basically put themselves in their new owners car ! Marigold are very similar in personality to the Warren Brown, just with a little more pattern to their feathering. They are another cracking layer and you could expect around 330 Brown eggs a year from these Hens.

Pure breed white Leghorn are very lively, this hybrid version are calmer and a lot more enjoyable to keep. We actually use this breed in our own free range laying flock as they out lay everyone, you can expect around 350 pure White eggs a year.
